Well it was a gorgeous day today, sunny, the waves were laid down. Got in the water at 6am, I would have stayed all day but it got soooo crowded I had no where to hunt. Got out at 11:45am. Found a large, mans band made of Tungsten Carbide by Artcarved, weighs 17.5 grams. Also got a nice large mans 18K band weighs 9.7 grams, and the tinyest gold ring/band I've ever found. It's 10k and only weighs 0.6 grams, it must have been a foot deep. Also found a memorial dog tag, it had a pic on the front and his name other stats on the back, a couple of junk earrings, 2 pair of sunglasses, and this neat shell. I don't have one of these. Hope everyone did as well. Aloha
Oh yeah, the pics are before and after zapping the tunsten ring, it came out of the water tarnished.

Nice haul! I'm still waiting for my first good ring! I've found 4 small light weight or kids rings but that is all so far. I'm envious!

Nice finds. Jewellery & the beach just go so well together!
Just think of all those bathers that were crowding you out today a few will be leaving you little treats for tomorrow.

Cheers for now

That's Hawaii for you..lots of honeymooners who lose weight because of all the "physical activity", combined with the shrivelling effects of the salt water. Lots of lost wedding bands..good pickings for those lucky enough to live there. Nice finds!!

Very cool rings!

The Tungsten carbide ring is exotic. Congratulations on a morning well spent!

Mahalo (Thank You) everyone. Hey Nash, your only a hop & a skip away, as the crow fly's. Come on over.... ANother hunter who's 72 found a big 4mm link chain yesterday. It was huge. Makes it all worthwhile, (and helps pay for the $3.40/gal. gas). :-[

WoW! Beautiful finds and GREAT display, Z! What is the memorial dog tag?

My son and his bride came over to Hawaii last year for their honeymoon. I thought....'Oh no! They may never come back to the mainland!' :D Says they're going back next year! ;)

Congrats on your finds!!! Nana :)

Just what it is Nana, a memorial to a lost soul. Has his likeness etched on one side and his birth & death record on the other. Sad, young guy.
