Had another interesting morning at the creekside farm today before I finally found the day's allotment of silver. These three cars, which we've all seen either in a hole or on other postings, offer proof of children at play (unless the Hansen brothers used one of the cottages). I found the silver ring and then the 36 Merc close to a cottage dated "circa 1933." The ring fits my daughter perfectly, and she wore it proudly to a social function tonight. Also part of today's package, my fourth Pittsburgh Railways token (in case the cars don't run), my fourth 09 wheat from this site, a 14, 19, 30, the seldom seen 33 and a 34 wheat. That's over 150 wheats from here in three weeks.

Beautiful little ring! I would be happy with that by itself. Wheats, a Merc & 3 cars just add a little frosting to the cake. Way to go Half.

I am assuming that the cars are Tootsie Toys I had never found any of those until this year and now I have found somewhere around 10 I think.... very neat to find
