What a great day out detecting! I found a really nice 1829 large cent and another that I can't see the date. An 1898 barber dime. 1938 siver quarter. A copper ring I believe it's Victorian. 2 cufflinks. 1 indian head. 5 Wheaties...etc. I need some help id'ing one of the coins. I think it's french. It looks really old. It has the fleur-de-lis and the word Franc on it...it's very thin and the size of a quarter.

Hey Eagle

I think you've got something a bit more special than a franc. I think it is a French Liard Dijon (P) mintmark, made from 1693-98. The real experts can chime in and hopefully provide more clarity, but I'd say you just stumbled into the 1600s french club (I just saw you were already in 1600s spanish!). Congrats, mate. : )

Wow. I can't believe it. I can't thank you enough. I searched and searched and couldn't find out what it was.
