3 cent piece,1869 nickel,standing liberty half dollar killer day!

got the half dollar from a field below my house. We went to a new site and man when we got there we saw dig holes everywhere bummer but wait there was a ton of iron and the deus thrives in it pulled the nickle from one of their old dig holes and pulled the 3 cent piece from in the middle where they had dug all around and pulled a percussion cap and another piece from the middle of all the dig holes. what a day!

Yep, me too. The only way I'd ever sell a find is if it was a life changing amount of money. Like it would have to be something so valuable it would be ridiculous to keep it. In all likelihood that'll never happen.

I'd MUCH rather keep the history than sell it for a few bucks.

that thing came out from between the nails I had no idea what it was I ran over to my hunting partner saying it might be military (I saw the star on it) and he said its a 3 cent piece. Man today was one of those days you will never forget.
