Time has been scarce lately. I got out for about two minutes today with the Basstards, and about 1.5hrs Tuesday.

Finds are thinning out, but a few to mention were a crusty pewter button, a 1-franc ribbit from 1918, and a roached CW token. I have a great new site lined up for the weekend. Official records date its use from 1665, but it's unofficial use dates much earlier. We shall see.

Enjoy your week.

Steve

Were you with both the B.O.B.s? That French coin is a unique find (She's real pretty). I bet you can breath some life back into that token. You sure found your share of buttons. Good Luck this weekend Steve. Life has been getting in the way here lately (home improvements don't cha know). You better believe I will be swinging the coil most of the weekend.

Great stuff Scrappy. I like the French coin, reminds me of a walking Liberty half or SLQ. It's interesting how so much coinage has had similar designs and themes throughout history, and all over the world.

Dang Loco, if you were closer I'd say come along. Didn't you have that sister-in-laws cousin in Delaware you need to visit. I hope to see you east soon and say high to Kevin's brother-in-law

Thanks DD. The frenchie coin was something I've never unearthed before so that's always refreshing. Funny part is the other two Basstards were there for an hour and I was there 5 minutes and scored a nice silver coin. Hahahahahahha!!!

Ain't having fiends fun!?

It's always fun in our get-togethers, even when they're 20 minutes. Lol. So where'd you spend the quarter?
