LOL Maybe! that's a good idea.
Ask me about vintage toys! I love to help people out with them. Even if I don't know about it, I'll learn something new!

It appears to! Really strange how someone would bother to blow a bottle that small and attach a lip. I might post it in bottles section later. If you notice though, there is no seam, and the whole bottle slants to one side, and there is an uneven tool mark on the lip. I'm psyched at how small it is though!

Must of been a perfume bottle I guess. Either that or some kind of portable ink bottle. Either way it would be my favorite bottle if it were mine.

Great finds. That's just about the smallest bottle I think I've ever seen.
I found an pretty nice old bottle dump last year I intended to go back and hunt again this year. I went back about a month ago and it's been completely cleared, bulldozed under and paved over to make way for about 40 Mc'Mansions. I really hate to see cool old stuff lost forever.
What a waste...

That is definitely a high tank toilet fill valve...I know this because I found one too and it cleaned up really nice after a trip through my tumbler.
I bet it would work as well as the day it was made if I hooked it up...these were from the era when things were designed to last.
Mine is heavy, brass with copper pins, looks great and yours will too if you get the dirt and tarnish off of it.

When the going gets wierd, the wierd turn pro...I am a wealth of mostly trivial information.....
A friend of mine years ago took one of those old valves and mounted it through the bottom of a stainless trough with the float pointed straight down. He hooked it up to a garden hose, set it on a little stand and used it as a self filling dog water trough. I keep thinking I'll do the same one day.....

I collect military relics, mainly German and American, but interested in others as well, pre 1945 .. Always interested in adding to my collection
