Couldn't believe it! Was getting ready for work this morning and noticed this in the junk pile. Almost had a heart attack! It's a hammer from a musket. Not sure where it was found because it's been here a while. Just goes to show.

This is a good thread. I was sorting out my junk and noticed religious medals I've found over the last 20 or so years. I had 41 of them. I began to look at them and noticed some sterling medals (5). Then I found a gold colored medal....it seemed to be heavier than the normal weight of a sterling medal. I took it to a pawn shop buddy and he checked it......2.1 gram of 14 K gold. He said it was worth about $55 in gold and he offered me $35 for it. I turned him down. I might have found this 5, 10, or 20 yrs ago. Going through your junk is fun finding goodies.
