These are some finds from an engagement area from the Civil War. Check out the spur. It was the first find of the day. The silver coin was the second. The coin is in the what is it section with pictures. All in all, not a bad day. Few nice "minnies as well"

Found a cob like yours when I visited Williamsberg. Did about 3 hours of detecting and found 2 of them. But I lost one, LOL. Anyway here is a pic of mine. Not sure what they are worth.
