Creek Bed and a City Park in one day

I detected a creek bed on my property today and was looking mostly for arrow heads but found none and found a lot of a trash before the bugs got bad enough for me to stop. I then took a break and received permission for a city park so I spent a couple hours there and found mostly modern money but I was very encouraged that I can find more than trash. Nothing special other than a 1961 D penny but it is in sad shape so no value increase.
