Just wondering if anyone could place an approx. date on these 2 identical buttons, which seem to show some type pig like animal, along with some other cool old stuff I found back in the woods around some old stone walls.

Hi; The buttons date from 1840 - Present. I believe they are both 1890's or so. NOW: That big buckle you have there is 1700's if it's a day. Post a picture of that in the BUCKLES Forum and you will get a whole bunch of info on it. THAT is your best find ok. Lastly, ALWAYS post a icture of BOTH sides of ANY object you find. That will help us help you ok. PEACE:RONB

The buttons are in what we call the Hunts (Hunting/sports) category, circa mid-19th C.

The buttons are definitely pretty cool. Cru has the date range down. Mid to late 1800s is my guess as well. The buckle is probably the same age. I'm pretty sure it's not a 1700s buckle. Nice finds.
