Went to the site where I found all the silver dollars. Wasn't expecting much, since the last few hunts hadn't given up much. Boy was I wrong again !!

The first hole I dug turned out to be the ONLY hole I dug.

I uncovered a piece of cloth material. I tried to pull it out of the hole, but couldn't. Went to the car and got my shovel. Opened the hole large enough to see it was a large cloth "something". I started to picture a "Bank Bag", but alas it was not. When I finally got it out of the hole, I discovered it was a purse. I turned it over and out fell some loose change. Boy was I happy!!

Then I noticed there was more loose change in the hole. I spent the remainder of the hunt digging and recovering coins from that ONE HOLE !!!

Needless to say, I WILL be going back !!!! Till then, HAPPY HUNTING !!!!

That would be an exciting thing to unearth. I would have had visions of buried loot as well. It was some loot. Nice coin spill!

That half is 40% silver in case you did not know! Half dollars from 1965-1970 were all 40% silver! Awesome spill, with some silver too!

It seems to me that it could possibly have been buried on purpose, that dollar bill is pretty new (2009). Nice score!

Technically, that's not a 'Coin Spill' but a modern day 'Hoard/Cache'.

A pile of coins scattered in the same hole, by any name, is SWEET to me. :-) Since it was buried when the house was demolished, It might not technically fall into any of those categories. Just glad I found whatever it is called. :-)
