I headed out early this morning to a 1953 home site. I decided to start the day out with the Racer 2 with the NEL Sharpshooter search coil attached. Using 2 tone audio I set the discrimination at 3 and the tone break at 17. I managed to find a Rosie and Mercury dime and a single wheat penny at that site.

I left that site and headed to another mid-fifties home site. I decided to pull out my F75DST with the NEL Sharpshooter search coil attached. I was using 4 tones in the DE mode. I only managed to find one Rosie dime before heading to the house early. Laying off from detecting for nearly 5 months has gotten me little out of shape.

This was my 83rd hunt for the year and my grand total for silver coins this year is 226.
I'll total all my gold and silver rings and other jewelry at the end of the year.

It don't look like it hurt you much for not dirt fishing for 5 months. Congrats on the silver.

Nice little haul of silver. You've certainly not lost the touch finding the goods. Congrats.

Congrats and I hope I do that well if I take a 5 month hiatus.

Good finds. I never get tired of looking at the Mercury. Wish I'd see one in the bottom of a hole already :laughing7:
