My head is reeling, I had 5 guys come hunt with me late this afternoon, they all work and hunt at nights allot. We were all meeting up at a cornfield a friend gave me permission to hunt. I went an hour early with Joe (from yesterday) 3 pm. We hunted until the other guys got there at 4. At five the only coin I found was a 1967 Wash Quarter. I was not feeling it. I talked with the other guys and we decided to move to plan B. On the ride there the new guy Jim tells my buddy he found this "silver coin" I don't want to offend Jim. He found it five minutes after they got there and never told anyone just because he didn't think it was a big deal. Now understand, people are all different, he has shared with me he has a very extensive coin collection. So Value is a very relative thing. I'm just glad I'm part of this.
Please help me ID this coin, I'm going to post the pix I have. Hopefully Jim will be able to send me better pix tomorrow. I took the first two in the dark at the second site of my other friend, freehand. I found the only other two coins of the night, the clad Wash and a Indian at the second site.

Enjoy the pix

That's an awesome draped bust dime you got there. The denomination was not put on the coin but it is a nice early American dime. A beauty.

Whoa...AWESOME Draped Bust dime!! I can't believe it has survived all these years looking that good..according to Jackelope's price guide, that is a VERY valuable find! I am in NO WAY an expert, or even a novice at grading coins..but I would guess that to be no less than EF...and if it's the 8 over 7 variety...!!?? Your post made my night! Thx very much, I'm looking forward to seeing some more pics of it...thx..ddf

Thanks for everyone's replies, I repeat I did not find this Jim found it on my site/permission, I just met him yesterday. I
I've said it a million times. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some people like colonial, some like Merc dimes, and others like Civil War. I think Jim is starting to get a little excited, look at this NGC link, because I think this is the coin. I need some coin experts to chime in. Read the description, it says "only three dozen known to exists. And look at the example.
