I got permission to hunt a old hotel that was built in 1800s , they doing contrstuction and removed all asphalt and found silver and my rare tip-top saloon token, yesterday the owner text me and told me that they were going start moving dirt and send pictures. So today I invited NM Dan to come over and hunt. My first target was mini ball and then boom 4 mexican 1/4 reale and what I believe copper powder flask ( need help from you guys back East )

The mint mark on your 1/4R is on the other (illegible) side of the coin. Not all MX mints minted the 1/4R. Maybe the position of the visible legend on the "1/4" side might lead towards a particular mint, in the absence of seeing the mint mark side of the coin.
Without a doubt, an interesting find (and finds).

That looks like a fun hunt. Those 1/4s are a great find, the powder flask too. Wish I was there with ya. Hunt hard before the window closes. Is that a cross too ??

Well done,, cancel all appointments and schedule 12 hour days at that site
It is definitely a place worth setting up a grid.
Congratulations on all of your finds.

WOW and Congrats. Make sure to crisscross the site, slowly and search for the deep targets! The site appears ideal for a PI machine.

Great site you got there, heck I'd be digging it in the rain too if it were my site

I found two early Mexican 1/4 copper reales from Sonora, one was 1834, the other 1832.

Here's the front and back of one of them:

We don't find many of those in California!
