Help IDing this ring

I came across this ring, which I believe is from the Roman period, but looking for possibly more detailed info about it. Perhaps a more definite time period within that era, style of ring, and material. My guess as far as material would be lead or even silver. But no idea about a specific time period...

I have two rings that look identical to that one that say Italy across the front. Don't have them close so I can get a picture of them right now.
