Beautiful day, so had to head back to the lot for an afternoon hunt. My hunting buddy got another Silver Dollar, so I took a picture of it so you could see it. I did find another Walking Liberty Half and another Mercury Dime, along with the usual clad and odds and ends. I just can't imagine what it is going to be like going back to random hunts and not finding silver on every hunt. It has surely been an unbelievable adventure in my detecting career. Till next time. Happy Hunting !!!

I wonder how many pounds lighter that soil is now that you've hauled all that silver out! :laughing7:

After seeing all the silvers you have dug on that lot, I have to hypothesize that the house that once stood there had a cache in it (maybe in a wall) and was spread around when the house was demolished. That is one dream site you've got.

I can't wait until you've completed your excavation and put together a complete picture of the total haul from this site. It will look like a true pirate treasure was uncovered!

Super hunt, congrats to you. Don't discount the intrinsic value of the plastic toy soldier. It is a Marx USGI from one of the boxed sets, circa late 1950's-1970. Sub 8-)

You must be digging in a place where a tornado hit the house of a hoarder/coin roll searcher or something.
