ThanksNice morphing Merc!
Thank youI never get tired of finding merc's! I'm always trying to dig as old as possible, but when a merc pops out..I smile... Nice finds!
ThanksI might spend at wawa to get a pretzel!! Hahaha
Oh and sweet largy!!
Thanks, the dirt made this one look good, it is not coming out very well. I could show you a tiny drawer full of toasted coppers, I'm not complaining, just trying to be grateful. It's called problems of prestige. I need to find some old woods where the high powered fertilizer is not around. I hear tell of some westerners that hate our geographical advantage. If they dug ten coppers in a row they would be talking like you too. I feel your pain.Congrats on the merc and old copper!! Why are all my old coppers toast? Lol

Thanks Kevin, Joe could not go yesterday so I picked him up at 7ish and we did a night hunt, he got what looked like a broken piece of silver, maybe a thimble, and I found a Large Cent. My luck and success has increased dramatically since starting last winter in the fields. I need a separate tiny drawer for those wagon brakes. My tiny drawers are starting to overflow. haaaaaaaaa lol check it outDang Brad, everyday you pull some nice finds. That buggy brake is a sweet find, heck I have only dug one here in Ohio. The Merc cleaned up nicely, surprised it did not come out black with all the fertilizer being used.
