Looks like a Minie with a piece of a puller broke off in it. I can't make out the number of rings on it and we need a size measurement of the diameter and length to give you any kind of an ID. And, welcome to the forums.

Hey thanks guys, loving the fourm, it has 4 rings and I looked it over good no threads where a puller was used, the wood peice comes out.?

Small patch of woods in NovaScotia, two I can no get a ID on, 4 rings wood plug in nose, clay base plug, stamped with what looks to be, broad arrow 8?
