I had a long day of hitting many schools in beautiful weather. My Iphone said that I walked 15, 136 steps today (5.9 miles) Hmmmm...:laughing7: I returned to a school from the 1950's that has given me silver jewelry in the recent past. Today, it loaded my bag with clad, and gave me one heck of a surprise. I got a solid 86 at 6" deep, and the Letsche tool unearthed a really nice 1943 "S" Washington Quarter. (Unfortunately not the double-die obverse.) This is only my second silver quarter found to date. (And ya'all know I dig up tons of clad...) It goes to prove that nothing is ever hunted out. Thanks for looking, happy hunting to all! Sub 8-)

I know the feeling. I went back to a school where I had been across the very same piece of ground literally hundreds of times. Mostly because it's near where I usually park. Anyway, on this last OTWBTTC, I got a plain ole pulltab hit. I dig them too. Only, this one, about 3 inches down, was a fairly large gold wedding band! Made me think, Now....just how the heck!!! LOL
