This story begins yesterday evening when I was walking the dog, and spotted a one antlered buck behind the house. So today rolls around and it was 60 degrees, and sunny. Ground still too frozen to dig, but way too nice not to be out. So the dog, wife, and kids and I went walking trough some fields, and we found these. I was pretty happy with them.

I love finding the sheds. You are obviously in a great area. The larger ones can also make a real nice wine bottle holder.

Really cool,,
I'm metal detecting an area up north where I counted 8 deer in a herd that always seems to visit us when we go. I wonder why I never come across these sheds.
Congrats on your finds.

Nice! I keep all I find for the dog... he loves chewing them up and it takes him a loooong time to get through one!

Thanks everybody,

I'm glad to see that lots of people find this interesting. My advice for anyone looking for sheds is to bring lots of eyeballs with you. Not only is it more fun, but I would have only found one or two of those by myself. In the past, I have even had my dog bring them to me, and I never trained her to do that.
