Detected for a couple hours in a Baltimore City park this afternoon. Was using the Etrac for the second time. I think I know what deep rusted iron rings in at now, but this signal was a mid-tone and turned out to be a brass disk. Couldn't make out the details out in the field, but a clean-up at home revealed a very old dog license.

Here's the dig:

Thx WNCsweeper! New to the Etrac, so the numbers didn't mean much to me, but said 'dig it'.

Thx Relicific! Agreed, I'll take anything from the 1800s.

That dog tag is EXTREMELY rare! Any tag from the 1800's is desirable, 1874 is absolutely awesome! That has to be worth over $100 and probably closer to 300 like Patch said. My oldest dug one is a relatively new 1911. Jackpot!

Awesome find!! A 1800's dog tag is up at the top of my bucket list.
