the Dutch Colonial farm is revealing some history. FMERG may have won in dollar value with the Seated---
but the ATPro wins bigly in coolness factor :laughing7:
we were a pair of buckle heads IMG_5084.JPG in a tight 200 sq ft area that was loaded with DEEP buckles
----then on to the tree line for the 1ST silver--- beauty center post pin type Fleur-de-Lis---whopping 0.5 grams of AG ( sorry Carolina Tom--- my silver is smaller than yours :tongue3:)
Google search resulted in no match for this specimen IMG_5085.JPG IMG_5086.JPG

then we hit the knoll that gave me the DBLC---
as Frank was showing me his IH, I showed him mine found 8 feet away.
IMG_5090.JPG IMG_5091.JPG :laughing7:
before I could swing the next target---he says "SEATED" :icon_thumright:
so FMERG nails the dollar value BUT___

cool matters 8-)8-) and this is BIGLY COOL-- wagon wheel hub part (Frank is too proud to dig iron :dontknow:???
IMG_5087.JPG IMG_5088.JPG IMG_5089.JPG

y'all be the judge on who won the day --Minelab or ATPro--- just NO opinions welcome from the 9TH Circuit Court of Appeals :tongue3::BangHead::crybaby2::sad10::sad11::pain10:

to end the post, the promised photos of the Colonial 1700's barn---- feast on these amazing samples of NOT MADE IN CHINA :icon_thumleft::icon_thumright:

note the old scarecrow standing guard against the bats & ghosts :laughing7::laughing7:

Great story and sweet finds! Congrats!
One can never be too proud to dig iron. You never know what is down under till you dig it.
Love the woodwork in the barn!!
