Just Find a exceptional Viking brooch in silver.
Really a big shock to dig it up..
a fairly equal in silver is only found one time before, in Sweden / Birka during excavation of a tomb in the early 1900s

Absolutley stunning. I live in Minnesota, and am of Norwegian decent. There is a museum here with many Viking artifacts that were discovered in Minnesota, that date back to the 1300's. It is very controversial to say that Vikings were here hundreds of years before Columbus, and many would call you crazy to even suggest that they made it all the way to Minnesota. And yet the artifacts are here to prove it, both in metal and stone. I have seen them with my own eyes, and yes, seeing is believing in this case for me. It is my dream to one day find a Viking artifact here in my home state. In the meantime, I will look in awe at your discovery.

Congratulations on you banner find.

How can anyone tell it wasn't made in 1538?

Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic find. I've made donations to two museums myself, though nothing that cool.

If not for those who contributed to the historical record before us, we'd have a much harder time figuring out where to look for it. Therefore we owe it to future generation who will get excited over finding our lost pennies that were made of real copper.
