While stopping with my wife at Wally World this evening for a few necessities, I thought I would check the Coinstar and the reject tray had a pile of coins. No silver, but picked up 62 cents in US clad, 2 Canadian quarters, 3 Canadian dimes, a Canadian nickel, and a 5 peso Filipino coin. No pictures taken because the finds were not anything to write home about, but just letting everyone know you should check when you are near one. Might find silver the next time. HH

Still great finds! Anytime I find anything in the coinstar worth a damn is a good day. Heck, even two glued pennies are better than getting skunked!

Haven't even seen as much as a washer in the reject tray. Should put some sound deadening material in the tray and see what happens...

Don't forget to check the blind spot in the feed tray.

Dang, nice haul. That reject tray must have been filled to bursting.

I hit the coinstar jackpot a week ago, 1.60 in silver mixed in with pennies and modern nickels, I was gonna post it but was too busy with work. 3 Qs a war nic, and 8 dimes. all dated from 1953 to 62. i always check them wherever they have them.

That is a nice score. I always check them and have found silver, but never more than one silver found at any time.
