I posted it up on my Facebook page and I immediately got a bunch of offers. I have never sold a coin but I'm considering selling this one. What do you guys think? IMG_20170623_083236_304.jpg IMG_20170622_165630_969.jpg

And as Paul Harvey used to say, "Now for the rest of the story"! In other words, we would like to know how you found and where such as in a field, new permission property or in the water.

I would never think of selling it.
They are not that easy to dig.

But if you need the money - do what you have to do.

Not trying to hijack, but I think there is some family resemblance here...

That's a rare coin. More so because of it's Excellent condition. A rare coin will invite counterfeit. I would not buy a coin like that unless it was graded and encapsulated by PCGS. Check that coin against a magnet.
Congrats on a nice find.

Congrats on finding one of the big three Barber quarters! As far as selling, to me it's a personal choice- do what YOU want to, not someone else... GL..

Rare find, but it is a shame about the scratches they dramatically reduce the value.

Depends on how bad you need the money. I dont sell anything that I find (besides that I already have an 1896 s in my personal collection) so if I found it, I would without a doubt keep it) Thats a great coin find, and I agree with ATW. If I was a buyer, that coin would have to be certified by PCGS before I even considered laying out some money for it. Again, great find. I'd keep it for the memories.

i sold my 1893CC eagle and I didn't look back. I needed to pay off some things. I have pictures and memories. Nothing can take that away. If you need cash keep the memories.
