I am pretty ignorant about key dates, just never was an issue with most of the coins that I have found. So thanks to the eagle eyes of Monstarules, he pointed out that the Walker was in fact a key date 1917 S mint. I had to figure out where he was seeing it and finally found it. So I now understand that a key date means more value to the coin. So thank you very much for educating me in this area Monstarules. Now I am even more stoked about finding it. Oh yeah! :headbang:

With those '16s and '17s it's all about where the mintmark is found;)

Congrats

Congrats on scoring a key date BIG silver. I would have liked to have seen your face when that came out of the hole.

Very well done Mr. Looter!
