My friend and I finally decided to take our AT Pro's into the water and needless to say, had quite the morning! Together, we pulled a shocking 151 wheat pennies out of the water! Pictured below is my share of our "haul." The neat thing; I found both a 1909 and a 1958, first and last year respectively. They are all well preserved, no silver, no IHP's, but I'll take a wheatie in good condition any day of the week. We are definitely going back, hopefully we'll get a key date next time. Happy 4th of July everyone!

Mike

151 wheats and no silver? That is very strange. Congrats on a nice hunt!

Somebody tossed a jar of Wheat Pennies into the water. I say that because there was no silver. The fresh water was kind to those pennies.
Congratulations
