Don't forget about the little places ! I received permission yesterday, and was out in this yard by 6:00 a.m. this morning. I wasn't there 2 minutes when my first hit on the minelab was the 1945 D Merc. 7 Wheat pennies from the 40's and 50's, 1 - 1953 Canadian penny and an hour and a half later, the 1943 Mr. George silver quarter showed up under my coil. This was an older home, so I figured there may be some early Mercs or even Barbers in the yard, but a 2 silver day is always a good day. I did not take in-situ pictures of the Wheats. They just dont get any respect !! All these coins were found in the front yard. The back yard was off limits as they are doing some remodeling, and had ladders, garbage and all kinds of stuff laying around. Great morning for a hunt, as it was only 73 degrees.
