Thunderbird/waterbird/ hunt token

Showing it off today but I found it yesterday!! Laying at the surface in about 2 inches of water!! It was pulled from a creek where numerous other goodies have been found!

Do you plan to have it authenticated? As far as I know all thunderbird effigies have been found to be forgeries...i even have one on my desk! Cool find nonetheless!

Yes it will be hand delivered to one of the archaeological heads that led a study on the area and in particular the creek in which I recovered it!! I am not worried about it being a fake, well because plain and simple, "It's not"!!! there has been hundreds of points removed of the same material, the knapping style is also similar.. I'll post as soon as I get it!! but I assure you it's pure gold, no worries at all!! Thanks
