Cannonball I think, can you verify?

Found in Thornton Colorado looks and research I've done earlier sounds like it's a 3" cannonball. All comments appreciated. If can tell me more I'd appreciate it.

Replying post to see if anyone can verify with weight and measurement. With previous link it matches with the smallest smooth bore but seeing if anybody can verify out of all experience this group has.

It looks like it matche a 1lb smooth bore but can I get multiple verifications/opinions from all experience on this site.
