Hi all,

The weather was too nice to stay in. Went with wife and to St.Francis river, to hunt for some jasper rocks and also for the dog to swim ;) My wife found something strange last Saturday, we have no idea what it could be and I don't think it is human made, but not sure. Need your input on this please. This thing is fragile, no doubt it could be crushed.

Also went for a park hunt yesterday. My plan was to get there early but as I was putting my stuff in the car, I just realized I have a flat :BangHead: Managed to find a garage and by 10h00 I was detecting but had only an hour. So I went cherry picking and came back with three LC (one not in picture) and two small 1920 cents, a weed pipe, a modern key and a melted blob (also no picture).

If you have an idea about the first picture, please be my guest.

Thanks in advance

Pfft! Only two LCs and two 1920 cents in an hour?

Are you kidding me? Wicked location you selected. Well done.

Thank you for the comments, my oldest penny (1903) was bented but still a keeper. Like I said, I was cherry picking, my time was very limited (it always is). I dream about a full day of detecting, so I could clean a spot and start to find the deeper old silver. A fellow found a 1921 canadian half this summer at the same place. I think it would be the equivalent of a 1895 Morgan on the value.

Nice recovery getting the coppers.
Nothing sucks worse when the heart is set on hunting and life throws the curve ball.

Thanks to my wife, she told me "go give it a try anyway" and she was right. But going back home was a tough as I felt I was on a streak :sadsmiley:
