I was out to a place that i have been before...first place i wanted to go had fresh liquid cow crap 2" deep.
I went to my second place just down the road ,different farmer no fresh crap in this field
Walk out with the Deus and 1 washer,1 Silver top to a round case .
This Plate looks to be Civil War has Excelsior,an Eagle holding 2 flags and poles in each talon, and a Cannon Barrel in each talon.
Hunt is 20 minutes long.
The End looks different but i`m not real good with this kind of find any help is cool.
The last picture i put some moisture to see it better.
OOO YA this find made me have get excited and i had to come home.

Another nice plate! Plates are jumping out of the ground like fish in a pond here lately. Haven't been out but once since September, but hopefully soon I'll get out and a plate can jump into my pouch.:)

Very nice, and complete with hook and bar. I grew up in Upstate NY so have a fondness for NY related military items.I found a 1/2 of one of those in North Hebron NY in the late 1980's. Never found the rest of it.
