Found another button thats been on my bucket list forever, today, and some other stuff as you can see. A rimless Great Seal button (1902-1910) from the old garbage dump near the railroad I mentioned a while back. I was getting discouraged and had 15 minutes left before it was time to go. I hadn't found anything except the few things you see in my photos, so I decided to take one last short walk around and found the button among the debris. Other finds include a pulley hook, a tiny little green glass faceted bead, a 1911 date nail, a REM-UMC Nitro Club shell and a tiny little unfired casing. Its what I would call a pocket pistol type bullet or casing, but does anyone know what these are called? It looks just like your basic .22 only a little shorter, and you see them a lot in early 1900s garbage dumps.
On the button I cant tell what it says on the back, but what I think I can make out looks like "
