My first ever Dandy button!!!

When to my spot in the park at broke out the F75 LTD and hit my first flat button at 7”. I️ love it!! Any suggestions on how I should clean it?

Also got some lead, but this is it brushed off with a brush. I don’t say anything but I love it. It’s in an area where I find a lot of three ringers what era are these buttons from?

Congrats. As long as you can't see anything on the button, do not clean it, you'll ruin the patina. To "see" the button a little better wipe some oil on it, it would bring out any detail and you can then wipe it off.

Cooking oil?

A little Vaseline or mineral oil will sometimes bring out the detail. But I only do that when there is no patina.

I like WD-40, it evaporates easily and can be removed quickly with detergent.
