Congrats! Hopefully there is a design on it, but right now I don't see anything.

Also got some lead, but this is it brushed off with a brush. I don’t say anything but I love it. It’s in an area where I find a lot of three ringers what era are these buttons from? IMG_1902.JPG

Congrats! Now that you've got your first one, time to find about 10000 more! You could let it dry out some more and toothpick it a little bit.

Congrats. As long as you can't see anything on the button, do not clean it, you'll ruin the patina. To "see" the button a little better wipe some oil on it, it would bring out any detail and you can then wipe it off.

You go, dawg! I've only found one and it was a great day. Nothing like those firsts!

I like WD-40, it evaporates easily and can be removed quickly with detergent.
