had a pretty good day hunted a few parks, lots of clad around $5-$6, 2 matchbox cars and old cheap necklace pendant, also found this 1997 20 pence coin anyone know where it's from? also found a master lock key and some clad at the local high school. and i saved the best for last i found a nice gold heart necklace and chain with a small diamond in the center and 6 either black or dark blue stones around it not sure what kind of stones they are. any ideas? the chain says 10k, i cant really make out the heart i think it says china and either 925 or 923 and also has a "b" or a "d" on it???? don't really matter much because my better half already laid claim to it.

925 is (92.5 % ) pure normally used on sterling silver items -- 24 K is pure gold ---10% of that is 2.4 (- 2.4) ---90% gold is 21.6 K--- 2.4 divided by 4 =.6 ---so 92.5% gold is 22.2 K---- the 20 "p" (pence) ---pence is plural for penny--- the coin is either british or aussie

after further searching the net I read that 925 is a hallmark meaning 925 parts per 1000 so sounds like its 92.5% wow!! now I'm super happy. guess ill take it to the jeweler and have the stones checked this may be a better find than i thought. thanks for your help

Sweet necklace and pendant! That's a great looking coin there too. Hope that is a diamond in that pendant.
