Like the new machine so far. Compared to my v3i it's like a feather. The swing speed is great, can cover alot more area.
Here's a few coins I found. 2 small silver kreuzers 1856 and 1864. The other silver is from 1770 not sure what it is yet. Was surprised to find the 40 Wheatie, not to far from the 38 nazi pfennig. 20180315_181527.jpg 20180315_201635.jpg

If anyone know what the twist tie looking thing is, looks old, and the buttons I'd appreciate the info. Found a couple silver rings one is huge with maybe diamonds. Definitely liking the machine! Thanks for looking.

Your button picture is a little out of focus but I think the first one is a Grenadiers and the next to the right is an Artillery. Are they one or two piece? Is there lettering or something around the edge of the first button? And, can you make out anything on the backs of them? It would help to post a picture of the backs if you would.

You're right mate, the pics are bad. I will send some better pics of them after my shift at work.

Hopefully these are better. They are one piece buttons and the large ones have A.M.D on the back. Thanks for the help.

I am not familiar with the A.M.D. backmark. I still think the first button is either Artillery or maybe Ordnance. The second is a Grenadiers and I think the third might be an 8th regiment of foot button. But, someone who knows may come along and correct me.

I want to come over and hunt with you, I'd be doing cartwheels if I found that stuff.

Hey rebel, got mine last week. What programs/settings are you using? I am mainly going out in Forests in Romania now, I tried the fast and Gmaxx stock programs, both making me dig a lot a lot of good sounding iron (although they should come in as iron tone) I tried the deep program which is a bit better but also lots of iron, even shallow iron. (the iron comes in as high tone instead of iron tone)
I really want to learn this machine as I know it is a killer but just wondering if I might be doing something wrong. With the ctx I can identify iron 95% of the cases... Keep up the good work!

Hey Ben I really like the gm power program. It's fast and I'm finding small coins at 9 plus. I've tried Gary's ultimate program as well. It works great but I dig a bit more trash. I find the outside of alot of iron targets have that faint iron grunt starting to call what my targets are going to be. If you havnt watched Gary's tutorials they are great!. I dig alot less trash with my v3i but the Deus is way faster and lighter. And it's amazing in iron infested areas.
Looking forward to see your finds mate, also when you need some help cleaning up some Roman fields let me know I'm ready.

Your unknown silver: German States-Wurttemberg, Karl Eugen as Duke (1744-1793), 1 Kreuzer,

The button with the bomb (or pineapple like thing) is
french military button - sapper/Grenadiers regiment.

Congrats on the deus! I also have the Deus & the White's V3!

I think the DEUS is an amazing machine.
Are you hunting with just the WS5 headphones?? The re remote will identify the iron correctly 99% of the time. Iron can sound good. The VDI and Depth gauge will help you to avoid digging iron targets.
Congrats on your finds

I'm taking mine to Coin Beach Delaware in the AM and watch the tide go out. There were 19.2 FOOT waves in the ocean earlier today, most were under 8 FEET, but still.......If no coins, then certainly will get sea glass and shells. It's a tough place to go. Might try a few other beaches also.

Mine sucks stuff out of the ground.

I opted for the w4s I don't really like the large ones. Makes my head all sweaty.
