Dug alot of treasure today.
Roevelt 1951, Merc 1921, Wheat cents 1937 (2) (other dates unknown), IHC (date unknown), Buffalo Nickel (date unknown), WWII-Era Sterling Silver "E" Badge (Awarded to American munition factory workers, "E" = Excellent), 22K Gold Virgin Mary Medalion (1.9g), 14K gold Virgin Mary Medalion (1g), 14K Gold earring (0.6g), WWII-Era crossed rifles brass pin, brass match safe, large copper advertising token ("Turn cents into sales"), etc.

That hunt was above awesome. I have dug at least a dozen silver Catholic medals like those,but never a one made of gold.And I have probably dug a pocket full of non silver ones.

I got a little wet, the water was ankle deep at most, I do wear my waders at this site often but not on this hunt. I always go when the tide is low.

Dang, nice collection of finds! What kind of site were you hunting?

It was a shoreline, activity there dates from the mid 1800's until the mid 20th century. The most common coins there are mostly 1920's-1940's, although there are older ones that have been in the water so long they are unrecognizable - the IHC from this hunt for example is nearly impossible to see any details, while the wheat cents are legible.
