No silver, no gold, but a bucket list find for me. I found a 174? KGII Farthing. I was excited to find a Farthing, Came out of an area were many other colonial coppers, buckles, and other artifacts have been found. I also found this thimble not sure how to date it but it was at 8” deep. Most coppers in that area come out between 5 -10 inches deep. 1910 wheat is in the photos for size reference and found yesterday also.

Thanks for looking, happy hunting.

Nice find. I had one site that had a bunch of farthings but rarely find them anywhere else

Your on some old dirt Andy,, wouldn't be surprised to see you bringing home some Spanish Silver.

Still looking for my first 1700’s silver (in USA). They seem to found by those who I hunt with..... someday it’ll be my turn, hopefully.

Thanks for the reply brother.

Excellent find-congrats. Looks like the last digit in the date is either a 9 or a 7; my guess is 9.
