Found a weird piece of Shield Nickel. Counterfeit??

I have no idea. Looks to be a shield nickel but look at it, it’s think and brittle...any ideas??

I dug a Barber Half that looks just like that, and it's more than likely a counterfeit.
That's way cooler than digging a real Shield!

I love it. My 2nd counterfeit I’ve also found a counterfeit 1875 Seated dime.
