Charlie took me to the 'telephone pedestal' this past week, so's I could see where he found that marble. Just a small area on the side of the road. Across and right on the edge of the road was an old rock house. Looks like the road took in the front yard and the house was falling in. I didn't find anyone to ask to hunt, so we went on.

Spent the rest of the afternoon just riding around sight seeing. Came across this really neat looking tree~! Here's a pic...

Went out hunting several times this week to a couple of different areas. Stopped by the tot lot and found a little ring, turns out it's gold plated. :-\ But was better than finding a dime! ;D Next morning, back to the sofball field. Found the 925 silver something ring and change.
The lake here is VERY low, so thoughts of hunting where the swimming area is has been on my mind, but there is no shade there and it's still in the 90's here. :'( Met Charlie there yesterday afternoon and hunted a couple of hours before dark. First find was a tiny 10k gold ring! After that, just change, fishing lead and pop tops and pull tabs....for two hours. :P Just as I am about to go, I get a great signal, and it's a 925 silver ring! Made my day.

So ended up with the silver rings, a tiny gold ring, some handy dandy fishing weights, $10.65 and a bunch of exercise! ;D

Nana ;)

Very nice finds Nana, any time you come away with more than you started with, it's a good day. Put on some sun block and get out to the swimming hole. Before you know it you'll be saying it's too cold to go there. Congrats on your finds.

Ridley..it is two trees kissin'! ;) Isn't it neat! Can't imagine anyone tieing them together when they were small, they are so far apart from each other. ??? Don't know how that happened.

Thanks ya'll! Nana :)

Nana,
Congrats on your rings finds. Is that a Siemese Tree? Very neat.
What are those round items in your picture, below the flower, to the left of the heart pendant?
Sorry, my eyes aren't what they used to be. :(

Awesome finds there :)
It looks to me like you might have to start taking your jewelry
box instead of a nail pouch when you go hunting ;)
Great post , thanks !!

Bring the lead Nana so charlie and I can knock out the fish that jump in our boat. :D :D
When Charlie goes fishing with me he is going to say that famous phrase "Were going to need a bigger boat!" ;D ;D
Nice finds Nana congrats. CTH just around the corner.
