The AT Pro finally found its first silver.
1919 Merc.
It is funny because I found it in the middle of the woods.
Blasting and repeatable 82 about 6" deep.
I felt I broke the ice now.
Also found 65 cents in clad, more headstamps and rifle rounds and an arrow tip.
MineLab E-Trac, MineLab Safari, MineLab Explorer XS,
White's 5000 D, White's 6DB, White's 5000 D GEB
Sunray X-1 for the ML's, Garrett PP for the White's and a Backhoe
Congrats on the silver! I have a neat trick for you; On the AT Pro, perform an auto ground balance, and then manually reduce by 5. Switch to pro zero mode, and let the fun begin! You will obviously hear a lot more junk, but silver, especially dimes, will “sing to you.” Mercs and Rosies will ring at 85, I found a Barber dime the other day around 8 inches down that rang off at a steady 82. You might get different results based upon the soil in your area, but my silver finds have gone through the roof since doing this.
