Used the 600 Nox for a couple of days and it is an awesome machine but it wore me out. Went back to the Deus and the HF coil at 54 Kz and hunted longer due to being a lot lighter. Found the 36 cal round ball 1st, the wheaties were 1920, 1940 and the other ones too toasted to read. When I had a target, I had been comparing the different freq numbers and tones. But, after digging a couple pull tabs and pieces of brass and being really tired, I didn't bother to check the hole that held the two mercs. In the higher Freq, the tones and numbers sounded and looked higher.
So I was surprised to find the 1st merc under the root and quickly checked the hole with my tuned down carrot but found nothing. However, after filling the hole back in and checking the hole again, I heard another sweet sound and opened the hole to find the 2nd merc. This time with the carrot cranked back up, I had another hit and found the 1940 Jefferson. This was Silver #20 for the year, the 22nd and 23rd merc from this site and the 41st silver from this site. It as been getting slower and harder to find good targets and I was totally surprised to find two silvers. Still loving this HF Coil.
