Went back to the camp where I got my first gold (10k ring with AT MAX 76 VDI) and wanted to try my Equinox 600.

This camp dates back to the late 1800s and is still in use today, replenishing itself with goodies.

I headed to the athletic field, where I found the ring, and got my heart breakers just under the surface of the soil. The gold color of the 50c euros made my heart skip! The pictures dont show the gold color well but in person they have a nice gold color and a fat reeded edge. I pulled the 1 franc and the 3 euros out of a 6"x6" area about an inch down.

As i finished scanning that area, I was heading back to my buddies at the other end of the field and got a crisp 26-30 chirp and maxed out on depth meter. I dug down 9 inches and found mr roosevelt waiting for me.

We then circled to the where the old lodge used to be and got an identicle signal as the rosie and called silver dime before I did. again, 9 inches down was a 1919 D merc this time.

In that same area my friends and I pulled some deep wheats, one got a sterling ring with a blue stone, I got an interesting pocket knife, not old and still in my finds bag. So no picture sorry. We then went back to one of the 1800s rec houses and out front my friend got a 43 Merc. We then rode the golf cart to the simming hole and my other friend got a 34 merc.

We all got silver that day, and I finished with an 1909 wheatie.

Thanks for looking!
