Big Silver Jackpot

Hello All. I dug 4 locations for these finds. Two parks and two old home sites at 4 different small towns here in Central FL.

Got the usual clad, ammo, marbles, misc hardware, and my best silver take ever. Dug all the silver and dollar coins near a 1901 house in one 4 x 4-FT area...sweet! Don't see how someone could lose all those coins?? Maybe a kid playing with his granddad's coin collection??

Also dug a USN fork and a nice unknown token at different sites.

Many holes dug with a special thanks to Btoots for the silver site permission. He dug 2 1800's IH's there.

Holy smokes - that's a ton of big coins! I've found a few Morgans, but never an Ike. Lots of treasure there, mate - congrats!

Terrific finds! Also hailing from central FL i'm a little jealous. I've yet to scratch a dollar coin OR a Kennedy half from these central ridge sands. Permissions on old home property are the best. And coins from the 1800's are as rare as hen's teeth (or honest politicians) down here.

Hello pyrogort. Agreed...it takes a lot of holes dug to find decent items in CFL and old homes are the best...but I love the sandy conditions we mostly enjoy.

Yes, I'm over being pissed that I only found 2 IH's and a nail....For all those wondering why I'm sour, it was I that got the permission....But since Cambria is a great friend, and digging buddy I'll let it slide that I got no love. Next time mon frere...Don't forget to charge my head set!
