That’s an absolute no doubt BANNER hunt! Gold coins fly up there all the time. These are far more special pieces of history. Congrats on these beauties

THANK YOU AHAB8 ! I THINK THAT FINDING HISTORY FROM THE 1600'S IS PRICELESS. I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME HOME WORK AND CAME ACROSS SOME CRAZY INFO. I THINK I HAVE THE NAME OF FOUR PRIESTS THAT WHERE HERE IN THE 20YR TIME SPAN OF OCUPATION! FATHER JAMES FREMIN, 1668-1670, FATHER JOESEPH CHAUMONT 1656, FATHER JULIEN GARNIER, 1669-1684!!! IT COULD BE POSSIBLE THAT ONE OF THESE PRIESTS HANDED OUT THESE RINGS! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

That’s the kind of research that makes these finds so amazing. Knowing that potentially one of these men held these in his hand and offered these to early settlers. I agree whole heartedly with your assessment of 17th Century finds in the states. They are my most cherished recoveries. I have a special spot for those finds. Very difficult to recover coins and relics from thus time period. Keep up the good work
