Got back out to a site that has been producing. Managed a '53 Rosie, Sterling ring and a 1904 Indian. +10 1940s/1950s wheats.

My hunting partner pulled a two sterling rings, barber dime and 10 wheats. A running total of this roughly 200' by 75' school yard has seen at least 50 wheats, 15 silvers, V nickel, IHP, random musket ball and a fair amount of early 1900s whats its during 7 hunts.

For those interested, the soil is that old smelly black soil complete with lots of oyster shells, price of brick and porcelain shards. If you get a deep repeatable that is 7+ inches (and isnt deep iron nails which I will say comes with the territory on "iffy" deep silvers) chances are good you have a good target.

It's out there, go get it!

HH!
