1912 Barber Dime, 1903 V Nic, 46 Nic, Sterling Ring, 18, 25, 40, 56 wheats, etc.

I found a 1912 Barber Dime and a 1903 V Nickel, a 1946 Washington Nickel, a Sterling Silver Ring, and some wheat’s, 1918, 25, 40 and a 56.

I conducted 5 hunts at 3 different sites, hunting one of them 3 times. At that site I saw 6 different guys metal detecting, I talked to 2.

I found a few items that I don’t know anything about. The disc with the Egyptian
Landscape is hinged and it looks like it was fastened to a thin sheet of metal. It might be a decoration for a horse saddle. I’d be writing all day trying to describe the other strange items. Most of the strange items where found not far from an old livery stable location or along parade routes.

On a side note:
I’ve finally figured out who’s been leaving deep pick ax holes and trash at our public demolition sites around here (not one of the two guy’s I talked to).

It’s the out of towers that are hitting inland demolitions sites, working them at a mad pace not covering up holes and leaving trash targets. So for now on I’m truing the local boys out on my worked demos. And when I see an out of towner at one before I’ve worked it, I’ll call them sooner. I don’t like policing behind adults, sad, but true.

That's some fine goodies you have there, Wtg on the finds.
Whoever is leaving the holes needs to have a few moles in their yard....Try covering up their tunnels!!!!
After stepping in a few of them, they might get the idea!!! I don't care where you dig, holes can get you sued if someone gets hurt.

You're the master of the demo recovery. I've done a few of them and it's a very unique hunting experience. With targets scattered all over the place mixed in with iron and trash.

Hi Tymcmurray. Are ya kidding? This is the Wild Wild West, anything west of the Pecos, remember, hehehe. I have about 5 horseshoes and one still has part of the huff on it.

"As to your Egyptian motif brass object, I cannot tell exactly what it is , but all of that Egyptian stuff dates to the craze that swept the nation after the discovery of King Tut' s tomb. I believe that was in 1922 or thereabouts. So there is an approximate age for your find.
