My Best-Looking Large Cent + Zeroing in on a Treasure Box

Alright, so I only found the keyhole plate for said treasure box, but as you dirt-pirates know it's out there! Somewhere...



You can see where I broke it off and epoxied it. In hindsight, probably not the best idea...

I'll continue pounding the ground until I find the box it goes to! In the meantime, here's some stuff I pulled out of the surrounding area before yesterday's rain modern + old:



The large cent is in amazing shape, partly because it was dropped fresh, but also because it was sitting straight up and down. The Equinox LOVES coins that are straight up and down by the way, which is probably why I walked over it a bunch of times with the AT PRO.

The ring is marked .925, so silver but definitely gold plated. The stones are pretty!
