I got out for another fossil hunting trip here in Florida and scored some nice stuff. A tooth to an extinct giant dolphin, megalodon shark teeth, snaggletooth shark teeth, makos and a killer point! I saw the point on the top of my shovel while filling up the screen...Very exciting!

Note: It is not legal to collect artifacts off of state land in Florida, but this is a small non-navigable, private creek. Just thought I'd throw that disclaimer out there for anybody that thinks I may not know the local laws.

Here's the video of the hunt:

For those who don't want to watch a video, here's some pics:

Believe it or not, this is a baby megalodon tooth. Megalodon teeth come in all sizes...Some people think if it's not the size of your hand, it's not a meg.

Cool stuff and I am curious as to what part of florida are you finding this stuff? North south east west or panhandle? Not asking for specific location just a general idea.

That point is an incredible find. You could probably get a pretty good ID on what type it is by posting it over on the native American finds page. Looks like a Hardee or a Marion to me.

Those teeth are so cool! I love the baby one. That spear point is banner I think! How old do you think it is?

By the way, I am amazed you could spot that dolphin tooth out of all of those rocks! So are you just digging in a creek and sifting it? And it used to be underwater in the past?

Man, that is nothing short of fantastic. Great looking teeth, and what a fine point. I'm going with either Pickwick or an unusually long Elora. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking us along!

Always cool to watch your videos, and see the great stuff you are finding. That creek looks like the place to find snake teeth though!
