What's better than a Merc. and a Silver ? A Merc. and a Gold.....

After finding 2 nice silver rings, when I was coin hunting (they both rang up like silver coins)...… I took a bunch of my wife's jewelry outside and sampled them for ID number's. I did some modifications to my program mode of my CTX and set out to find some rings.

At the first place I found a 1943 Merc. and a Sterling ring...

The next day, at another place, I didn't find a ring, but, I did find a 1948 Merc. and a Heavy 14K Gold Earring... (4 Grams)

Hi Tom, I found it at a summer camp for family's, that is over 100 years old , but, is still in use to this day....but, The earring can't be too old, because it has a post for pierced ear's and a spring type holder to snug to the ear after putting thru the ear.. The piece that's standing up is spring loaded to clamp.

My wife wore earings like that back in the 70s. But not saying they could have been earlier.
